DENA M. GAPPY, Esq.
Dena Gappy is a civil litigator whose practice focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, insurance litigation and business litigation. Dena began her legal career with an AV-rated firm (the highest rating according to Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system), specializing in general casualty insurance defense litigation. Dena bolstered her experience in this area working as in-house defense counsel for one of the largest auto insurance groups in the United States. Dena’s goal throughout her career has been to garner litigation and trial experience, and an understanding of the inner workings of insurance companies, to develop a unique and aggressive approach to litigation on the plaintiff’s side. Her goal was realized when she opened her own office in 2014 where she now brings this experience to bear by providing each client with individualized attention to maximize the compensation and justice available under the law.
Dena has an extensive background handling claims involving automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian injuries, premises liability, slip and falls, wrongful death, dog bite injuries, brain injuries, burn injuries, spinal cord injuries, medical malpractice, product liability, property damage, insurance litigation and contract disputes.
Prior to pursuing her civil litigation career, Dena worked for Biosite Incorporated, a biotechnology company specializing in rapid response diagnostic products, for ten years.

TODD E. VERBICK, Esq.
Todd Verbick is a civil litigator whose practice focuses on construction litigation, insurance claims/litigation, and business litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, and plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Todd spent most of his career with AV-rated firms (the highest rating according to Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system), specializing in insurance bad faith defense and construction defect defense litigation. He was fortunate to develop his litigation skills in firms formed and run by top-notch, ethical litigation professionals. As counsel for developers in construction defect litigation, he developed his litigation skills by taking well over 200 percipient and expert witness depositions and attending countless court hearings in cases involving upwards of 20 parties and their respective attorneys, where developers' counsel takes the lead on all issues. He has successfully briefed and argued cases in the Appellate Court of California - 4th and 2nd Appellate Districts, and in the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
Todd has an extensive background in handling cases involving contract disputes, property damage, personal injury, product liability, premises liability, insurance claims and coverage. He is licensed to practice in the courts of the State of California and in the Federal District Court - Southern District.
Todd is a former Division I college athlete and he is currently working at continuing to develop his golf game.
